    Making Sense of Mental Health has been developed to support staff working in special needs schools to understand the mental health of children and young people with complex needs.

    This training aims to:

    • Increase understanding of the mental health needs in children and young people with complex needs

    • Support staff in identifying and recording any mental health concerns they may have

    • Provide information about sharing these concerns in the work place and signposting to external services if appropriate

    This training has been developed by NASS and The University of Northampton working in partnership.
